Sections of the Journal

Power and Democracy – International Journal of Politics, Philosophy and Law (PaD) is articulated in three sections, submitted to a double-blind peer review process:

(I) “Monographic Section”

(II) “Essays and Contributions”

(III) “Theory, Argumentation and Practice”

The “Monographic Section” collects original research papers on a specific topic, as indicated in the title of every issue of PaD.

The “Essays and Contributions” Section is a miscellaneous one, presenting original works in the reserarch areas of interest of PaD.

The “Theory, Argumentation and Practice” Section is an original experiment and it will host studies and research - also in the form of comments on the judgment - whose intent is to reflect, on the legal theory level, on the relationship between power and argumentation and, on the constitutional and public law perspective, on the political-administrative power and its dynamics of exercise. Following these lines of research, ample space will be dedicated to the perspective of the administrative function and of the procedure as continuity between organization and activity, to the efficiency of the rules of public decision-making processes, as well as to judicial review.

PaD consists of Regular - biannual -  issues and of Supplements and Special Issues, dedicated to collect studies proposed by scholars and national or international research groups. Even in this case, every paper is submitted to a double-blind peer review process.
