Power and Democracy - International Journal of Politics, Philosophy and Law is a six-monthly, peer-reviewed and open access online scientific publication. The magazine welcomes contributions from different disciplinary perspectives regarding the dynamics that influence the balance of power in a democratic order in various ways. It values the centrality of the fundamental rights of the person, with particular reference to the role of institutions, within a polyarchic and subsidiary paradigm that overcomes the rigid distinction between the public and private spheres. In addition to the monographic section and the section of essays and contributions, Power and Democracy intends to contribute to the international debate with studies, comments and jurisprudential analyzes on the rules of decision-making processes that affect the public sphere and on the argumentative-justifying dynamics underlying adoption of legislative, administrative and jurisdictional policies and provisions.
